Jan Swasthaya Abhiyan  Haryana oppose the twenty times hike in the fees of MBBS and PG courses of Govt. Medical Colleges in Haryana. This fees have been Rs 53 thousand at present .  Now from this session every student who gets admission in MBBS n Haryana Medical Colleges will have to submit a bond worth Rs. 10 lakh every year. This will include the fee of that year also. First year fee now will be Rs. 80000, second year Rs. 88000, third year 96000 and last year fee will be Rs.1,06480. This will be from this session.

Similarly the fee of PG Coarse has been increased to Rs 1.25 lakh first year,. Rs.1.50 lakh second year, and Rs.1.75 lakh for 3rd year. This will be implemented from next session.
The Govt.will arrange for Rs 10 lakh money every year as bond . Total 40 lakhs in four years( 3,71280 from pocket and rest will be loan. 6% interest on loan will be around 15 lakh. So candidate will have to pay about 55 lakh.  After passing out ,if he gets the Haryana Govt job, the Govt.will pay the installments of the bond. But Govt is not bound to give job to every pass out. Then the pass out doctor will have to pay back starting after one year in seven years.
The NRI candidates will not be affected by these rules.
There are about 800 MBBS seats in Haryana Govt.Medical Colleges. The Haryana Govt. does not have any space for adjusting these pass outs in Govt.job every year. So they will have to repay the bond from their own pocket.
Such a big enhancement in the fees for MBBS student will have a big economic burden on the family of the student. Majority population of Haryana will be out of race.
In a way the Haryana Govt. has privatised these Govt. Medical Colleges also by increasing the fees to that extent. In private medical colleges also range is 5 lakh to 18 lakh annual fees other than hostel expenses.
The people who cannot afford this much yearly fee will not be able to get their children admitted .
Jan Swasthya Abhiyan Haryana demands that this order to increase  the fees of MBBS course and PG courses should be taken back immediately.
We support the agitation of mbbs students of PGIMS Rohtak against  this unduly fee raised by Haryana Govt . We urge the public at large and different organisations to come forward to oppose this increase in fees in Govt. Medical Colleges.
